I recently read the poetry collection by Hughie Gibson. Of all the poetry collections I have read I truly connected to the poems in this book, Hemingway’s Poison. Every emotion is laid out in beautifully poetic verse and just waiting to give you a front row seat to his life. I felt reborn inside each poem as if I was the one writing the words. I believe anyone who decides to read this book will see a part of them inside every word. Mr. Gibson also has another work I have not read yet but it is on my list.
